That's the duce Les flew IFR everywhere. Even across Lake Michigan..................at night. The plane is sound. Has the orig. grumman nose bowls made from the orig grumman molds. Good plane, airworthy, solid, solid feeling. Lot's of instruments for IFR. Has the larger Vertical stab also as I recall.Ask on here about it long enough and Les Benson will answer you. Les sold it for the down payment on a house for his girlfriend/later wife. How's that for being a gentleman. The plane has survived, not at all sure about the marriage. The plane was sound, the marriage, well........................... |
