Kerry, From the photos ( not to detailed) on this site, It looks to be a bad design. It is hard to beleave that the attatchment bolt is put in tension. Grove Aircraft builds many one piece designs that could be easily installed on your aircraft. Check out the drop test on the zenair.    John
