The following
photos were taken on a trip out to Bryce Ski Resort in the western
part of Virginia.
Virginia's Blue
Ridge mountain range.
Bryce Ski Resort
and Bryce Sky Airport (VG18). The runway is 2240' x 50' and nestled
in a valley. It's a beautiful, straight, flat, smooth strip of asphalt
In the photo the
runway is left to right just below the slopes. The slopes are nothing
spectacular but the flight was a little over an hour from Richmond,
the skiing wasn't too bad and it was cheap and uncrowded. |
